Information

The School is located at Orchard Park on the outskirts of the historical town of Laugharne. The original School was built in Laugharne town itself, but the School was relocated to the present site and the new School opened in 2005.

The School provides an education for children from 4 to 11 years old. The School is a Voluntary Controlled School and therefore has close links to the local Church.

ADMISSIONS

Children are admitted to the School on a full-time basis at the beginning of the term they are 4 years of age. However, the School will arrange introductory sessions compromising of morning and afternoons, together with a lunchtime session so that children become familiar with the School timetable prior to admission.

To make an application to attend Laugharne Primary School, it is now compulsory to complete an On-line Application Form, which links directly to the Carmarthenshire Admissions Section of the Education Department.

Please follow the link below. It is imperative that you have read the Schools Admissions Handbook, and ticked the box to say that you have done this before the Application can be sent through. If in doubt, or have further questions, please contact the School.
